The H-F Vikings Youth Hockey program involved more than 100 skaters ages 5 through 14 last season in hockey training and competitions. The organization’s supporters are hosting a golf outing to support the program and enhancements at the H-F Ice Arena.

Homewood trustees to consider local gas tax, alternative water sources
Homewood trustees will consider a measure Tuesday to add a 3-cent per gallon tax to gasoline sold in the village. If implemented, and in combination with an expected increase in Motor Fuel Tax revenue from the state, the village could more than double the funds used for the street resurfacing program.
