Homewood announces winners of Halloween decorating contest

Homewood officials posted the winners of the annual Haunted Homewood Halloween Decorating Contest on the village Facebook page on Monday, Oct. 30.

The winner in the Child Friendly category was 2828 Birch Road. The Special Effects winner was 1611 Cedar Road. The Scariest entry was 18613 Page Ave.

Other entries in the Child Friendly category included 1848 Olive Road, 1322 Elder Road, 3043 Hickory Road, 18543 Argyle Ave., 1626 Evergreen Road, 18436 Homewood Ave., 1520 186th Place and 18408 Martin Ave.

Other entries in the Special Effect category included 18145 Riegel Road and 1138 Hickory Road, which also competed in the Scariest category.

Other entries in the Scariest category included 17560 Hillside Ave. and 18513 Lexington Ave.
