A February Homewood-Flossmoor community collection of unwanted gift items for the Leave It for Love project will help brighten a senior citizen’s day, said founder Jennifer Molski of Flossmoor. Severe weather affects village services Wednesday in Homewood, Flossmoor
Municipal offices in Flossmoor will be closed by severe weather Wednesday, while a reduced staff will be on duty at Homewood village facilities. Other local services will also be affected by the brutal cold.
Frigid temps mean polar vortex discounts at brewery
Flossmoor Station Restaurant and Brewery is responding to this week’s brutal temperatures by offering discounts commensurate with the Arctic chills. For every low in the negative teens or below, Flossmoor Station will match that amount in percentage discounts on all food and drinks.
