H-F Vikings take game from Thornton

Homewood-Flossmoor High School’s Vikings boys basketball overpowered Thornton 65-52 Tuesday and improved their record to 10-4.   Senior forward Issac Stanback led H-F with 21 points, 10 rebounds, three steals and two assists.  

Homewood reaches parking agreement with St. Joseph church

Flossmoor board overturns truck parking ban

Flossmoor residents can now legally park pickup trucks in their driveways after the Flossmoor Village Board voted Monday to change a decades-old ban.   The vote was unanimous among the six trustees. Mayor Paul Braun, who abstained from voting, called the vote a “landmark” decision for the community.

Tennis mixer and pickleball set at H-F Racquet Club
