Wiedeman chosen as Thornton Township trustee

At a special meeting Tuesday, Jan. 21, Thornton Township voters packed the field house at South Suburban College to select Stephanie Wiedeman as trustee. She will serve the last four months of Jerry Jones’ term. He resigned in October. More information to come.

$100,000 donation helps Serena Hills School grads attend PSC 

Prairie State College alumnus Allan DiCastro has presented the PSC Foundation with a $100,000 gift to cover out-of-pocket tuition and books for graduates of Serena Hills School in Chicago Heights.
