Pancake breakfast fundraiser Feb. 16 at H-F High

Property tax relief tied to state grant

The Illinois State Board of Education has announced that Homewood-Flossmoor High School District 233 is of 28 districts that will share a $50 million grant to help reduce local property taxes. The district expects to receive $1.96 million, which it must use to provide property tax relief.  

H-F chess team gearing up for state championship
