- Open any bids for the purchase and redevelopment of 2018-2020 Ridge Road. If no bids are received by 5 p.m. Tuesday, the village will proceed with negotiating a sale and redevelopment agreement with Grace Yan Cui of Chicago Investment Group.
- Consider an amended redevelopment agreement with the owner of The Ridgewood, 2059 Ridge Road.
- Consider a sale and redevelopment agreement with Animesh “Andy” Kumar for the property at 2124 183rd St., formerly the Citgo gas station. The board will also consider endorsing a Class 8 property tax relief designation for the property.
- Consider approving subdivision of property in the Washington Park Plaza at 17750 Halsted St.

Monday, June 10
Junk Art Project. The challenge: Make art out of junk. Youth artists are invited to stop by the Flossmoor Public Library any time Monday to pick up a junk bag to use as the material for an artistic creation. Submissions are due by 4:30 p.m. June 21. The community will be invited to vote on the best entries. Register here.
Thursday, June 13
Escape Room. Homewood Public Library, 17917 Dixie Highway, will host escape room sessions with hourly time slots from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
IPO Summer @ OFCC. The Illinois Philharmonic Orchestra’s summer concert series at Olympia Fields Country Club, 2800 Country Club Drive, begins with a performance by Juliani Ensemble at 6:15 and 7:15 p.m. Thursday, June 13. Saturday, June 15
HF Juneteenth Festival. The fourth annual festival organized by You Matter 2 will include entertainment, art, food, history, activities for kids and many vendors in the Homewood-Flossmoor High School south parking lot, 999 Kedzie Ave., from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Shredding/electronics recycling/drug disposal. State Rep. Will Davis will host a paper shredding/electronics recycling/prescription drug takeback event at his office, 1912 174th St. in East Hazel Crest, from 9 a.m. to noon.
Grand Prairie Singers. Langston Hughes’ poem “I Dream A World” will be the focus of a concert from 3 to 4:30 p.m. at Flossmoor Community Church, 2218 Hutchison Road.
Roller Derby. The Chicago Knockouts will host a bout for adults-only. Doors open at 8:15 p.m., action begins at 9 p.m. General tickets $15, trackside $20, front row $25.
Save the Date
The HF Juneteenth Parade. The parade will step off at 9 a.m. Wednesday, June 19, from Western Avenue School and make its way to Flossmoor Road and go west to Parker Junior High. Spectators welcome along the route.

Flossmoor History Fundraiser. The Foundation for the Preservation of Flossmoor History will hold a fundraising event on Wednesday, June 26, starting with tours from 5 to 6 p.m. of the organization’s home in the historic Wagner Building at 2709 Flossmoor Road. Following will be a reception and fundraising event from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Flossmoor Station, 1035 Sterling Ave. The organization’s goal is to raise funds to renovate 2709 Flossmoor Road into a multifaceted civic space.
