If you love stories, you may enjoy the five presenters for the June 18 Homewood Stories program at The Community House, 847 Hutchison Road in Flossmoor.
Sharing their stories are:
- Dusty Patrick, a Homewood resident who spent 48 years in employee development and school board counseling.
- Giggy Wagner, a Homewood resident who has been telling stories in the classroom for more than 20 years and now is bringing them to the stage.
- Jill Howe is an education specialist at Mind Sprout, a producer of Story Sessions, and a story coach/workshop instructor.
- Janice Del Negro received the National Storytelling Network’s Circle of Excellence Award and has been featured at local and national storytelling fests. She is a professor at Dominican University.
- Karen O’Donnell is the Homewood Stories producer and storyteller.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Guests can bring their own food and drink. The show starts at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $15 in advance and can be purchased at ticketleap.events or are $20 at the door.
