Five storytellers on the program for June 18 Homewood Stories

If you love stories, you may enjoy the five presenters for the June 18 Homewood Stories program at The Community House, 847 Hutchison Road in Flossmoor.

Sharing their stories are:

  • Dusty Patrick, a Homewood resident who spent 48 years in employee development and school board counseling.
  • Giggy Wagner, a Homewood resident who has been telling stories in the classroom for more than 20 years and now is bringing them to the stage.
  • Jill Howe is an education specialist at Mind Sprout, a producer of Story Sessions, and a story coach/workshop instructor.
  • Janice Del Negro received the National Storytelling Network’s Circle of Excellence Award and has been featured at local and national storytelling fests. She is a professor at Dominican University.
  • Karen O’Donnell is the Homewood Stories producer and storyteller.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Guests can bring their own food and drink. The show starts at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $15 in advance and can be purchased at ticketleap.events or are $20 at the door.
