Homewood-Flossmoor High School’s National Honor Society (NHS) inducted 115 juniors and sophomores into its ranks during a special ceremony Monday, April 24.   NHS officers addressed students. A Homewood-Flossmoor High School robotics team won one of the division trophies in the first SouthWorks Engineering and Robotics Olympics on Saturday, April 8, hosted by the South Suburban Mayors and Managers Association (SSMMA).

H-F High students working on obelisk sculpture

The District 233 school board gave its blessing to an outdoor mirrored obelisk sculpture for the Homewood-Flossmoor High School campus. Students and art teacher Greg Petecki explained the concept for the project at the April 4 board meeting.
