Homewood-Flossmoor District 233 officials announced late Friday, Feb. 17, that a former H-F High School administrator has been selected to be the new high school principal. The Board of Education is expected to make the appointment of Dr. Jerry Lee Anderson official at its meeting Tuesday.

Four top musicians selected for Music Educators Festival
Four outstanding musicians at Homewood-Flossmoor High School will be part of the 2017 Music Educators Association All-State Festival this weekend in Peoria. The program will bring together the best student musicians from across the state. The meeting is Jan. 25 through 28.
Five H-F seniors selected for Exelon internships
Homewood-Flossmoor High School seniors have been selected for the Exelon Generation internship program. H-F is the only high school participating in the program that typically focuses on incoming college sophomores.
