A 23-year-old man who allegedly robbed employees of a Homewood convenience store at gunpoint last month has been arrested and charged.
A 13-year-old was injured by gunfire late Monday in the 18800 block of Castle Road in Homewood, according to police. Homewood police said they responded to report of a carjacking early Tuesday morning. Around 1:50 a.m., two people reported they were parked in a driveway in the 17600 block of Lincoln Avenue when three to four armed men approached the car and demanded the keys.
