Supporters of Homewood District 153 are gearing up for the 10th annual Foundation 153 5K run/walk and 153-yard dash on Sunday, Sept. 22. The fun starts at 9 a.m.
Foundation 153 is making changes to the annual Fund Run for Homewood schools moving it up to Aug. 25, and expanding it to a multilayered event that will include games, a parents night out event and a teachers dunk tank.
A gift from Foundation 153 has helped purchase 90 new computers for students in Homewood District 153.
