Flossmoor library survey, neighborhood nights target growth, programs
Flossmoor Public Library has two initiatives this fall, both aimed at growth and moving forward in the years to come. Residents have been asked to fill out a survey that rates current services and what steps need to be taken to improve the library, especially regarding advances in technology.
Candidates for the Flossmoor Library Board of Trustees
There are three four-year seats at stake on the Flossmoor Public Library board. Candidates are Kimberly Mitchell, Nancy Disabato, Leslie Kimmons, Jane Harper, Dominique Bordelon-Bristol and Natasha Bergeron. Flossmoor library board selects new director
The Flossmoor Public Library has a new director. Aaron Carlin will take over as library director on March 13. He replaces Megan Millen, the director for the past 14 years. Flossmoor library director leaving for position in Joliet
Flossmoor Public Library Director Megan Millen has accepted a similar position in Joliet and will be leaving the library at the end of October. Millen will take over as executive director of the Joliet Public Library in November.
