Bob Haderlein thanked for 12 years on H-F park board

The Homewood-Flossmoor Park Board honored outgoing board president Bob Haderlein for his 12 years of service. Newly elected board member Christina Farley Jackson took the oath of office for a six-year term at the May 16 board meeting and will fill Haderlein’s seat.

H-F students examine international issues at Illinois forum

Major current issue being discussed internationally were in the spotlight April 27 when10 students from Homewood-Flossmoor High School joined with more than 100 students from high schools across the state for the Illinois Capitol Forum on America’s Future. H-F assistant principal Fantin resigns

The District 233 school board Tuesday accepted the resignation of Craig Fantin, one of two assistant principals at Homewood-Flossmoor High School. He will serve at H-F through June 30, and then move to his new position as principal at Peotone High School.
