Body discovered in Coyote Run pond
The body of a 66-year-old white man was recovered from a pond on Coyote Run Golf Course in Flossmoor Thursday. Around 7 a.m., Flossmoor police responded to a call from maintenance workers at the Homewood-Flossmoor Park District course, who reported discovering a body in a pond on the east side of the property.

Police look for three suspects after attempted carjacking
A Flossmoor resident was assaulted and robbed during an attempted carjacking at his home on Thursday, police said. The incident was reported at about 5:30 p.m. on May 30 in the 1400 block of Kinross Street, Flossmoor police said in an email alert to the community.
