Proceeds from Portillo’s sales on Tuesday, Oct. 29, will benefit the District 153 annual trip to White Pines Nature Ranch.
Guests presenting a coupon at Portillo’s at 17500 Halsted St., between 5 to 8 p.m. will have 20 percent of their purchases donated to the White Pines benefit.
The annual sixth grade trip to White Pines Nature Ranch has been part of the District 153 curriculum for 30 years. It gives kids a chance to learn by doing. Lessons focus on aquatics, history, fossil searches and more. To learn more about White Pines, watch the district’s video.
