Read, Rock, n’ Rhyme. Homewood Public Library, 17917 Dixie Highway, will host story time for kids age newborn to 7 years old. Kids will be able to dance, shake and wiggle as we share stories, songs, rhymes, and more from 10:30 to 11 a.m. in the Rauch Reading Room. Register here.

Read, Play, & Grow!: A Storytime for Babies and Toddlers. Meet in the Helen Wilson Meeting Room at Flossmoor Public Library, 1000 Sterling Ave., from 10:30 to 11 a.m. for fun activities that help develop early literacy skills for babies and toddlers. Register here.

Homeschoolers Study Group. Homeschool teens can meet in The FORT at Homewood Public Library, 17917 Dixie Highway, for a study session from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Register here.

Pokémon Club. Youngsters and teens are invited to the meeting room at the Homewood Public Library, 17917 Dixie Highway, from 5 to 6 p.m. to trade Pokémon cards and play games. Bring your battle decks, doubles, and extras to the library to battle and trade with other collectors. Register here.

Circuit Sewing. Teens age 11 to 14 are invited to come to The Attic at Flossmoor Public Library, 1000 Sterling Ave., from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. to make a light up plushie. Register here.

Bel Canto Community Choir Registration. Anyone from teens to adults who is interested in singing with the Bel Canto Community Choir can register for the summer session. The choir performs at community events such as Homewood-Flossmoor’s Pride Fest and Flossmoor’s Chamber Night, where the choir gets to open for the Illinois Philharmonic Orchestra. There are two sessions available: Wednesdays from 6 to 7 p.m. and Thursdays from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Classes are held at the Homewood Science Center, 18022 Dixie Highway, starting May 27. As with all Spotlight programming, tuition assistance is available.
