Homewood-Flossmoor Park District Board of Commissioners will meet at 7 p.m. in Goldberg Administration Center, 3301 Flossmoor Road. The agenda is available here.

Park Storytime. Homewood Public Library presents stories for babies to 2nd-graders from 10:30 to 11 a.m. in Heritage Park on Idlewild Lane just west of Riegel Road in Homewood. In case of inclement weather, storytime will move inside to the library at 17917 Dixie Highway. Register here.

Senior Chair Yoga. Homewood Public Library, 17917 Dixie Highway, will host chair yoga for seniors led by Liz Smith of Serendipity Yoga from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Register here

Pop Culture Dance. Spotlight Performance Academy will offer a class on dance combinations set to songs from theatre, TV, movies, TikTok and YouTube. Dance styles will vary among jazz, modern, hip hop and ballet. No dance experience is necessary. All classes will be held at the Homewood Science Center, 18022 Dixie Highway. Tuition is $80. Session 1 classes will meet on Tuesdays from 6 to 7:15 p.m. through June 23. Session 2 classes will run July 7 through July 28.

Choo-Choo Ride. A four-ish mile easy paced bike ride around Homewood and Flossmoor. Starts at 6:30 p.m. at GoodSpeed Cycle, 2125 W. 183rd St. in Homewood. Ends at the shop with a cool treat.

Court Closure Notice. The tennis court in Orchard Park on Olive Road in Homewood will be closed Monday, June 1, through Friday, June 5, for repairs and improvements.

Dixie Highway Viaduct Project. The project to repair the viaduct drainage system and resurface Dixie Highway north of the viaduct will officially begin Monday, June 1. The 90-day closure of the viaduct to traffic will begin June 8, according to village officials. The detour route will follow 175th Street, Governors Highway and 183rd Street.
