Homewood-Flossmoor District 233 Board of Education will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 16, in The Viking Room, South Building, 999 Kedzie Ave. The agenda is available here.

Bingo for Teens. Homewood Public Library, 17917 Dixie Highway, will host bingo in the FORT from 6 to 7 p.m.

Flossmoor Water Bills. The village posted a notice Monday acknowledging an issue with Cycle-1 Water Bill distribution. “It appears that the residents who are enrolled in paperless billing did not receive their water bills. Therefore, the Village will be extending the due date to Friday, Sept. 26; all penalties and fees will be waived until after this date. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.”

Courts/Rink Closures. Beginning Monday, Sept. 15, the Homewood-Flossmoor Park District racquet sports courts at Lions Park and Orchard Park, and the roller hockey rink at Millennium Park will be closed until further notice for washing and resurfacing. Outdoor racquet sports courts are also available at Flossmoor Park, Flossmoor Hills Park, Highlands Park, Pheasant Trails Park and Indian Trails Park.

Homewood Board Meeting Rescheduled. The Homewood Board of Trustees scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 23, has been rescheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 30.
