Employment history: Currently assistant principal of Student Services at Glenbard East HS; 20 years in education as an administrator, counselor, dean of students, and student support specialist.
Previous service: Serving on D153 board the past 4 years.
Most important issues: Academic achievement; managing our budget; teacher attrition and job satisfaction; addressing the needs of aging buildings.
Top goals: I intend to work collaboratively with our superintendent, school board, and school admin/staff to continue to provide a high level of education to the students and families we serve.
Doing so requires exploration of new ideas and creative ways to drive academic achievement, while simultaneously keeping our teachers excited about the profession. We must continue to exam expenditures, while finding ways to increase general funds and savings for our district.
