Office: Homewood School District 153 Board of Education
Education: BA Sociology, DePaul University; MEd College Student Affairs Administration, University of Georgia.
Employment history: I have almost 20 years experience in college admissions and currently work for Alma College as their Chicago regional assistant director of admission. I also work part-time as a travel advisor with About the Memories Travel.

Previous service: I am currently serving as president of the Homewood Parent Music Association and previously served as treasurer. I was fundraising co-chair for Citizens for Homewood Schools and have chaired committees within the Illinois Association for College Admission Counseling.
Most important issues: Retaining and attracting teachers and staff; balancing the various financial needs of the district; supporting school environments where students feel safe and cared for in order to learn to their highest potential.
Top goals: Develop a collaborative relationship with the other members of the school board in order to effectively develop policies and objectives to support the above goals.
My family moved to Homewood in 2013 in large part because of the schools, so another top goal of mine would be to support the community and district so that Homewood continues to be a desirable destination for people looking for a great place to raise their families.
