Employment history: Northern Trust 2007- present, Program/ Project Manager in various business units ( Securities Lending. Brokerage. Reconciliations and Finance); ABN AMRO/ LaSalle National Bank (now Bank of America) 1989-2007, Project Manager in various business units.

Most important issues: Government cuts to public libraries are on the rise which can affect programming, hours of operation, and online resources, so maintaining a strong financial budget is important.
With 30+ years working in project management and managing budgets, I hope to be a great support to the library ensuring there is always enough funds to operate and provide services to our community.
Top goals: To promote their vision, strategic plan, programming and services to our community; to ensure the library has sufficient funds to meet the needs of the community; and to support the library director and her team in creating and maintaining policies and procedures.
I grew up in Flossmoor, and am a 1983 graduate of Homewood-Flossmoor High School. I raised my two grown boys here, and have many fond memories of spending time with them at the library. I am looking forward to further serving my community if I am selected to the Flossmoor Library board as a trustee.
