Previous service: I am on the Board for Spotlight Performance Academy, a local non-profit providing high-quality performing arts education to children and adults in the South Suburbs.

Most important issues: Homewood Public Library is a vital resource for our community. Their doors are open to everyone, and I am running to support that commitment. National book banning movements have increased and the future of public funding is uncertain.

The board can serve as a protective shield for the library staff and patrons, so their focus can remain on meeting the needs of the community, providing quality programming and resources, and identifying opportunities for growth.

My family has been almost-daily patrons since we moved to Homewood. It is where we work, play, learn, and make personal connections. I’m committed to ensuring that opportunity continues for our community for years to come.

Top goals: Continue to ensure the library remains a place for everyone and reflects the values and diversity of our community; Collaborate with library staff and support the implementation of their strategic plan; Advocate for continued funding that allows the library to thrive and be a thoughtful steward of finances and resources; Build a stronger community by supporting partner
