Employment history: I’m the business manager for Quriosity Productions, a Chicago and Los Angeles-based commercial production company founded with my husband to support diverse talent and serve Fortune 500 clients.
Previously, I spent years in private wealth management, overseeing industrial properties and negotiating land and water sales to municipalities nationwide.
Previous service: I serve as secretary for the Ballantrae of Flossmoor Community
Association; co-chair of events for Flossmoor Hills PTO; fundraising chair for FH Dad Force One. I actively volunteer with food insecurity organizations and hospitals. My family also supports youth development initiatives through Free Spirit Media and local NAACP chapters.
Most important issues: Responsible economic development is my top priority. We must attract businesses that meet our community’s needs while fostering long-term growth. This means supporting a diverse range of businesses — from small to large — that align with our values and promote sustainability. All businesses should operate responsibly, reducing their environmental impact and embracing green practices for a healthier future.
Strengthening safety through community policing and open communication is another key issue. When my family moved here, it was because of the village’s strong safety record. I will always prioritize that! Celebrating the diversity that makes Flossmoor special is also essential. Our community thrives on its vibrant mix of backgrounds, and embracing that diversity — through events like the Juneteenth Parade, Gay Pride Month, and Menorah lighting — creates an inclusive environment for all families. This celebration of unity and diversity is what sets us apart and makes Flossmoor a unique, welcoming place to call home.
Top goals: My top goal is protecting our village from external forces that threaten our reputation and way of life. I’ve negotiated with municipalities and seen how some outside investors try to take advantage of a town’s most valuable assets. I’ve also witnessed municipalities approve developments without considering their environmental impact.
Additionally, our village has encountered attempts by outside criminals to exploit our community. That’s why it’s essential we equip our police force with every available tool and maintain open communication to keep these threats at bay.
With the changing national landscape, we must prevent divisive forces that have no place in Flossmoor. I will work tirelessly to protect our village’s values, ensuring outside influences cannot undermine our safety, schools, environment, or unity. You can trust me to safeguard the future of our community and preserve the qualities that make Flossmoor a great place to live.
