Most important issues: As mayor, I will provide strong, transparent leadership to tackle Flossmoor’s most pressing challenges with a strategic, forward-thinking approach. Although a strategic plan exists, it has not been referenced or updated in over a year. Such a monumental document is pivotal for an organization’s operations and efficiency. I will work collaboratively with local government experts, urban planners, and business leaders to revitalize our economic development strategy, ensuring sustainable growth and financial stability. My leadership is rooted in thoughtful decision-making, creative problem-solving, and a deep commitment to serving all residents — not just a select few. By prioritizing fiscal responsibility, community engagement, and long-term planning, we can strengthen Flossmoor’s innovation while preserving its charm. Most importantly, I will listen to diverse perspectives, foster open dialogue, and ensure that every resident’s voice is heard in shaping our village’s success.
Top goals: I will seek relief for property taxes and generate resources for increased economic development. I envision a future where Flossmoor preserves its charm yet becomes a beacon of sustainable growth. Investing in our infrastructure keeps our community resilient and attractive for new families and businesses. Flossmoor does not have an economic development staff, commission, or land use plan. With over two decades of real estate experience, I will activate best practices for strategic economic development. My administration will position Flossmoor as a regional leader by drawing businesses that align with our values and partnering with our school systems for student success. I will champion open discussions before the Board votes, creating a collaborative environment where the voices of residents and board members shape policies that drive progress. In addition, we will focus on reducing the million-dollar budgetary deficit, addressing public safety concerns, and restoring trust. Together We Build.
