Flossmoor seeks community input on police chief search (free)

Flossmoor is inviting village residents and other stakeholders to provide input that will help in the search for a new police chief. Chief Tod Kamleiter announced last week that he will retire in December.

In order to identify the candidate that best fits the needs of Flossmoor, the village partnered with the Illinois Association of Chiefs of Police to create a community stakeholder questionnaire.

The 10-question survey is available to every community stakeholder in Flossmoor, including residents, business owners, school representatives, village employees, neighborhood associations and community groups.

The survey will close at 5 p.m. on Nov. 21.
