Two people went to area hospitals after a shooting incident near 175th and Halsted streets late Wednesday, according to Homewood police.
Officers responded to the area at about 11:40 p.m. and discovered a 21-year-old woman gunshot victim. Homewood Fire Department paramedics transported her to the hospital.
Police said a second gunshot victim, a 31-year-old man, was located shortly after the incident at a nearby hospital.
