Sculptor Ed McCullough took the Flossmoor Public Art Commission members and guests on an aesthetic journey on Saturday as he described the ideas and inspirations for his work. His metal sculpture, Crossing #5 was dedicated as the newest piece in Flossmoor’s sculpture garden.

St. Joseph School in Homewood graduated its last class on Friday, June 2. After 91 years, the school is closing its doors. But none of that mattered on Friday as the 13 graduates marched up the center aisle of St. Joseph Church to the traditional notes of “Pomp and Circumstance.”

A Homewood restaurant will celebrate its second anniversary by hosting a performance by a teen singer who appeared on “The Voice.” Riley Elmore will perform at La Voute from 6 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, June 17.
Mirrored obelisk becomes H-F High School’s 12th outdoor sculpture
