H-F’s automotive classes are offered through the school’s Industrial Technology program. There are also multi-year sequences in engineering, manufacturing and welding. All are designed to teach valuable, 21st century skills for a rapidly changing workplace.

There are more than 4,000 Montessori schools in the United States and two of the child-centered schools are located within the communities of Homewood and Flossmoor.
H-F High School investing in computer technology updates
At Homewood-Flossmoor High School, “technology doesn’t drive our curriculum. It’s part of our curriculum,” Gary Posing told board of education members. Posing, director of information technology, gave that assessment to the District 233 board May 16 before it approved spending on technology upgrades.
