GSU open house set for Oct. 14

Governors State University (GSU) is hosting a graduate and undergraduate combined open house on Saturday, Oct. 14, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Hall of Governors, on the first floor of the main campus.

Incoming freshmen, transfer and graduate students — and their families — can attend sessions on financial aid, admission requirements, housing and more. The open house will showcase the many bachelor’s, master’s, specialist and doctoral degree programs offered at the university and give students a chance to talk with faculty and staff while exploring the possibilities at GSU.

Prospective students who attend the open house will receive a waiver code for their application fee. Programs requiring application through Centralized Application Services are excluded.

For more information, contact Julie Anderson at 708-534-4086 or email [email protected]. To register for the open house, visit www.govst.edu/GSU-openhouse/ by Oct. 9.

Governors State University, a state supported university, serves 5,200 undergraduate and graduate students. It is located at 1 University Parkway, off of Stuenkel Road near Governors Highway, in University Park.
