Vice District Brewing owner Curtis Tarver said a recent shutdown of his Homewood facility was largely due to having to comply with the village’s requests during construction. Homewood Village Manager Jim Marino confirmed Tuesday, Oct. 30, that Vice District Brewing at 18027 Dixie Highway was closed for failure to correct code violations.
Vice District Brewing will host the grand opening on Friday, Aug. 31, at its new location at 18027-18029 Dixie Highway in Homewood. The craft brewery is selling tickets for two-hour portions of the opening for $25. Vice will donate 25 percent of the proceeds to local nonprofit organizations.
