“We want a nice, intimate experience so people can really enjoy the space, ask questions, etc.,” Owner Curtis Tarver III said in an email to The Chronicle.
The event will include brewery tours, beer and “swag,” Tarver said. Vice District will be closed Sept. 2 so staff can be on hand for a fourth anniversary at its main location at 1454 South Michigan Ave. in Chicago.
Vice District began working on the Homewood location in 2016. The village board first approved a $100,000 non-TIF business incentive package in September of that year.
Permitting issues related to the building’s water supply delayed the opening.
