Homewood trustees will honor two retiring fire captains, Lawrence Lipinski and William Wright, at the board meeting Tuesday, Jan. 28. Nikki Kerr, principal at Homewood’s Churchill School, will be leaving her position July 1. With twin 6-year-olds, Kerr said she couldn’t be a mom and a principal and work well at both positions.
