Homewood signs agreement in search for alternative water source

In a 5 to 1 vote Tuesday, Homewood’s Board of Trustees approved an intergovernmental agreement (IGA) to join 10 area municipalities in a search for an alternate method of obtaining Lake Michigan water rather than the existing route through the City of Chicago.
