The Flossmoor Public Library has a new director. Aaron Carlin will take over as library director on March 13. He replaces Megan Millen, the director for the past 14 years. It’s a gray metal box, not quite three feet tall, in place at the main entrance of Flossmoor Village Hall, 2800 Flossmoor Road. The modest receptacle, which was installed this week, has an important function as a collection box for unused prescription drugs.
Homewood-Flossmoor District 233 officials announced late Friday, Feb. 17, that a former H-F High School administrator has been selected to be the new high school principal. The Board of Education is expected to make the appointment of Dr. Jerry Lee Anderson official at its meeting Tuesday.
Homewood will soon begin a search for an assistant village manager following the resignation of Michael Marzal, which became effective Jan. 27.
