Two new members join Homewood Library board
Two residents stepped forward to fill vacant seats on the Homewood Public Library Board of Trustees. Tom Nowak and Catherine Uecker were selected from a list of candidates who applied for the two spots. They were sworn in as trustees at the Nov. 15 meeting.

Ecumenical Thanksgiving Service is Wednesday
The faith communities of the South Suburbs will gather at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 22, for the annual Ecumenical Thanksgiving Service.
