The Walt’s name came off the building at 2345 183rd St. Monday morning in preparation for its reopening under management of Berkot’s Super Foods on Tuesday, Oct. 28. Walt’s operated the grocery store in Homewood for 45 years. Berkot’s promises a major investment and changes with its operations.
