Cook County Commissioner Donna Miller is sponsoring a resolution to develop a countywide CPR/AED training awareness campaign. CPR refers to cardiopulmonary resuscitation, a first aid procedure to help people whose heart has stopped. AED stands for automated external defibrillator, a device that can help restart the heart.
