The replacement of water pipes in Flossmoor marches on after the village board on Monday, May 1, decided materials being used were safe.The issue of new piping came to light after some residents questioned the safety of plastic piping.

Homewood awards bids for construction, computers, street work

Emergency vehicles in Homewood will get new computer equipment after the village board approved leasing agreements with Marlin Business Bank at its April 25 meeting.  A $25,167 lease pays for 22 Panasonic Toughbook computers for police and fire department vehicles.
