66 H-F seniors named Illinois State Scholars

The Homewood-Flossmoor High School senior class has 66 students selected as 2019 Illinois State Scholars. The Illinois Student Assistance Commission selects these students based on their academic achievements. View this year’s honorees.

District 153 to raise cash via $4.5 million in GO bonds

IPO presents Handel’s ‘Messiah’ on Saturday

On Saturday, Dec. 8, the Illinois Philharmonic Orchestra will present Handel’s “Messiah” with four guest vocal soloists and the Elmhurst Choral Union.   The orchestra, under the director of maestro Stilian Kirov, will perform at 3 p.m. at Ozinga Chapel at Trinity Christian College, 6601 W.
