Roaring ‘20s theme for Cancer Support Center gala April 12

It’s a Roaring ’20s event for the Cancer Support Center when it hosts the annual spring gala on Friday, April 12, at Ravisloe Country Club, 18231 S. Park Ave. in Homewood. 
 
The theme is in keeping with the center’s 20th anniversary. The gala is one of the signature events for the center and includes a tribute to cancer survivors.
Cocktail hour will begin at 6:30 p.m. followed by dinner at 7:30 p.m. The entertainment provided by James Libera starts at 9 p.m. A silent auction be conducted and raffle prizes will be offered throughout the evening.
 
Tickets are $125 per person and the event is black tie optional. Guests are welcome to attend the entertainment segment for $50. Tickets can be purchased at the Cancer Support Center office at 2028 Elm Road in Homewood or at the website.
         
The Cancer Support Center gives strength, guidance and support to anyone living with a cancer diagnosis, as well as to their loved ones. The center is a community-based, volunteer-driven, donor-supported organization. Professional therapists, counselors, nutritional educators and experts deliver programs and services in a warm, nurturing setting at no cost to participants.
