Homewood-Flossmoor Park District’s Job Fair. The park district is filling roles like camp counselors, lifeguards, park maintenance, swim instructors and more. Pay starts at $15 per hour. Homewood Indoor Farmers Market. The market will be open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Homewood Auditorium, 2010 Chestnut Road. Featured vendors, among the dozens that plan to attend, include Imani Skincare, and Mommy’s Rum Cake.

Izaak Walton General Meeting. The meeting from 7 to 8 p.m. at Izaak Walton Preserve, 1100 Ridge Road, will feature a presentation by Tristan Shaw, the owner of Possibility Place, on native gardens and native plants. Free milkweed seed packets will be available.
