Storytime in the Park. Join Flossmoor Library’s Miss Jenny for some outdoor stories from 10:30 to 11 a.m. in Leavitt Park, 1010 Leavitt Ave. Bring your own blankets or chairs. Storytime will be moved to the library in the event of bad weather. Register here.

Wizard of Oz Auditions. Homewood-Flossmoor Park District’s Children’s Theater program will hold auditions at 6 p.m. at Irwin Center, 18120 Highland Ave. Participants will audition to spend four weeks rehearsing to perform the Wizard of Oz. The performance will take place at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 6, at Irwin Community Center. Casting is for kids aged 8 to 12.
