• Consider an amendment to the village zoning code to prohibit swimming pools from being rented out for parties and other events.

Pumpkin Spice Everything. Flossmoor Public Library, 1000 Sterling Ave., will host in The Attic from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. an opportunity for anyone ages 10 to 18 to enjoy pumpkin spice crafts, snacks and major fall vibes. Register here. 

Chess Club for All. Homewood Public Library, 17917 Dixie Highway, will host an hour of fun playing chess from 4 to 5 p.m. Practice skills or learn the basics of playing the game. The club is for all ages.

Teen Movie Club. Homewood Public Library, 17917 Dixie Highway, will host a showing of the movie “La La Land” (rated PG 13) from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Snacks will be provided. Registration is required.

Karaoke at the Q. Twisted Q BBQ, 2053 Ridge Road, will host karaoke from 8 to 11 p.m.
