BLACK HISTORY MONTH READING CHALLENGE – Homewood Library is issuing a challenge to young people ages 11 to 18. During February, read books about Black history and books written by African-American authors. Then, track your hours read through the Beanstack app to earn rewards. Read 10 hours and get entered into a drawing for a $25 gift card.

LIBRARY HIRING FOR TEEN SERVICES – Flossmoor Library is hiring for a part time Teen Services assistant. As part of the Youth Services team, the person will engage with teens and tweens, and plan and implement programs. The library is looking for a high school graduate who has a strong knowledge of teen literature, as well as mobile technology and apps. See the library website for details.
