FIGHT INVASIVES AT IZAAK WALTON – Help remove invasive woody plants at Izaak Walton Nature Preserve on Saturday. Gather at 1 p.m. wearing long sleeve shirts, long pants, work gloves and work shoes or boots that can get dirty. No experience is necessary. Work gloves, hearing protection and safety glasses will be provided for those who need them. After the work, stay for a bonfire, snacks and soft drinks. In the event of rain, the make-up day is Oct. 22 at 1 p.m.
