On the agenda: Homewood trustees to consider enterprise zone, budget amendment, committee appointments

The Homewood board of trustees will meet at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 25, in Village Hall, 2020 Chestnut Road, and will consider an ordinance to establish an enterprise zone. 
On the agenda:

  • Pay bills amounting to $551,217.88. 
  • Consider a motion to approve the reappointments of Maureen 
  • Guger and Regina Zohfeld to the Tree Committee 
  • Witness the oath of office administered to Harry Hammock as Department of Public Works utility supervisor.
  • Consider a resolution to authorize LED traffic signal upgrades.
  • Consider a raffle license for the Parish of St. Joseph.
  • Consider an ordinance to establish an enterprise 
  • Consider a sign variance for Touch by Angels at 18222-18234 Halsted St.
  • Consider budget amendments and transfers related to the 2014 general obligation bond and capital improvement projects.
  • Consider granting a liquor license to Paintertaining at 2049 Ridge Road.
  • The board plans to convene in closed session following the public meeting to discuss the purchase or lease of real property.
