Football training camp for junior high boys opens at H-F

Registration is ongoing for a football camp for boys in seventh and eighth grades that opens Tuesday, Jan. 16, at Homewood-Flossmoor High School.

Football Futures camp will be led by H-F coach Terrell Alexander. The camp meets from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, Jan. 16 through March 21, in the Weight Room of the H-F Fieldhouse in the North Building. The program is free.

The camp puts an emphasis on the proper speed, agility and weight training techniques necessary for developing and preparing student-athletes for a more competitive football season.
