Flossmoor Station family recalls challenges of a quarter century in business

While celebrating the 25th anniversary of Flossmoor Station Restaurant & Brewery owners Armstrong and her husband, Dean, sat with Dean's brother, George, and his wife, Pam, and reminisced about . . .

  • Flossmoor Business Association open house, 5 to 7 p.m., downtown Flossmoor.


  • Holiday Lights in Homewood, 5 to 9 p.m., Ridge Road and Martin Avenue downtown. Shopping, carousel, mulled wine, cookies, ice sculpture, music, antique car parade.
  • Tree-lighting ceremony with Santa Claus, 7 p.m., Irwin Park.


  • Janet Gustafson’s gingerbread village tours, 3 to 6 p.m. Register at flossmoor.org.
