At the Chronicle: Ads spotlight local charities

To help bring attention to local nonprofits, the Chronicle invited community members to buy an ad for a charitable organization for the paper’s December issue.BrainUp, which funds cancer research and was started by Melody Mart owners Dan and Meg Kresach, was supported by Hoekstra Heating and Air Conditioning and Susan Jenner of Baird & Warner.The Cancer Support Center received support from Grape & Grain as well as Deborah Okleshen of Baird & Warner.Coldwell Banker Charitable Foundation was backed by agents at Coldwell Banker Brokerage in Flossmoor.Respond Now was supported by Flossmoor residents who wished . . .
